- shorts that come below the knees, socks that are a tad too big, a bright new ball
- getting worn out
- team mates, new friends waiting to be made
(My son is the smallest one on the team. The coach's 3 year old son is bigger than him.)
- running, playing duck-duck-goose
- a coach who is kind and thoughtful and willing to give extra attention
- big brother, who has been watched during practice for 2 years,
learning to watch and encourage
- one pretty excited boy, who waited for 2 whole years to finally be the one on the soccer field!
