This post could also be titled, "Aaron's 1st ever coaching session." He and Jason are the coaches of "The Fireballs" who had their first practice last night. It was a perfect early fall evening, slightly cool with a breeze and light turning crisp as the sun went down. He is going to be a great coach.
Jeremiah's skills have improved a lot recently and I think that soccer camp also gave him real confidence. He was so excited for the season to start and ran right out onto the field handling his ball and interacting with the other kids.

Carter is a friend who is also 6 and also being homeschooled this year. They get along so well together and are really becoming good friends.

These boys together are a hoot! This is the 3rd year in a row that Levi and Jeremiah are on the same team. I love having friends who also have multiple boys. There is a real difference between raising boys and girls and Summer, Kara and I can all relate to each other. It helps that all of these boys get along and enjoy playing together.
We are looking forward to a fun soccer season. It looks like Jeremiah's team has a nice mix of more and less experienced kids. All of the parents seem friendly, helpful and involved. So we are taking a deep breath and diving right into another busy, fun soccer season!
