- Nathaniel knowing how to make us laugh.
- Having gray storm clouds above me, but seeing the sun shining bright on the mountains in the distance. God is speaking to me through nature.
- An encouraging email.
- Tempestuous spring weather.
- Jeremiah spotting birds in the yard so he can excitedly come in and tell me which ones he has seen "because I know you love birds!"
- Daring to pray specific prayers.
- "So that with yonder sacred throng we at his feet may fall. We'll join the everlasting song and crown him Lord of all!" sung with my brothers and sisters in Christ. A taste of heaven.
- Air conditioning.
- Jeremiah building a fort in his room.
- Card games.
- The simple goodness of bread, butter & jam.

i just had an idea. lately i feel like i'm so blinded to my sins. i feel like i should do a journal of confessions. i wonder if that would help the soul or hurt the soul? maybe it isn't a good idea.
