Halloween

We had fun on Halloween. Our neighborhood usually gets a ton of trick or treaters and we are usually out of candy in no time. But there seemed to be less this year. It was a beautiful evening and because we haven't turned back the clocks yet it stayed light a bit later than past years. So we enjoyed sitting outside together. This year it was a bit harder to get Jeremiah to be excited about giving candy to other kids since he now knows what candy is. He caught onto the trick or treat concept quickly just from watching the kids. So before long after his first lollypop was finished he would come up to Aaron, put on his sticky sweet begging face and say, "like to have some trick or treat - please!" But he did end up with his own little stash when a nice neighbor came over to chat and give him some candy.

This time I was creative enough to use eyeliner to add whiskers and a nose.

Jeremiah has recently been into finding sticks in the yard (there is never a lack) and trying to figure out what letter they look like. He thought this one looked like a Z.

Ok - this is not letting me put captions where I want to. Anyway. I found a camo suit for Nathaniel and decided he should be "the hunter."

Jeremiah is very proud of this pumpkin which he picked out himself.

He usually carries it around the house at some point during the day.
