Ben & Ramona got here safe and sound yesterday. (Check out their blog for details of their trip. I stole one of Ben's pics to post here...) It was so great to see them! It was also fun to hear their reactions to sights and sounds as we drove back through Atlanta and into the country to LaFayette. Of course the heat was a bit of an adjustment for them, it was a typical Georgia summer day - hot and steamy with temps in the 90's. When Jeremiah saw them walk in the door you could literally see the gears in his head turning. He was not frightened and he obviously recognized them, but he just was not sure how they made it to his house. I would have paid good money to know exactly what he was thinking at that moment. Within a few minutes he was showing them around the house, taking them for a walk in the back yard, jumping on their bed, and showing them our pictures from our trip to the Netherlands. Crazy kid!
A big huge monster size thanks to Aunt Cherise for taking such good care of Jeremiah yesterday afternoon. He obviously had a terrific time!
I think today's entertainment will be a trip to Wal-mart! Yes! How's that for vacation? :-)
